Stampaganza and limited edition stamps ENDS tomorrow!

We've been running our Buy 2 stamp sets get 1 free promotion through the month of March-  it ends TOMORROW...

We've also had this fun stamp set available for the past two weeks and it retires tomorrow as well:

Click here to go to the Hello Paradise stamp set.  It is $17.95 but can also be purchased as part of the Buy 2 stamp sets get one free... Simply add 3 stamp sets to your shopping cart (click here to go to the stamp section of my website) and the least expensive set will be free.  If you add 6 sets to your cart- the TWO least expensive sets will be free.

I went crazy with the Buy 2 get 1 free and bought all the state stamps!

Here's an example

We carry all 50 states, the Canadian Provinces, Australia and New Zealand.  They are ONLY $2.95!!

If you purchased all 50- you would save $47.20!  After tax and shipping It would cost $100.30 before tax and shipping (shipping would be about $4.95-5 on my website if you chose the cheaper shipping option)

I bought all 50 because we are trying to take our kids around to all 50 states before they both move out of the house... these stamps will be GREAT for adding elements to our scrapbooks on our travel pages!

March kit by mail

I had planned to post this last week but I was soooo sick.  I had the flu bug... the Influenza virus that knocks you out for a week.

So... here's my March kit by mail photos... a week late.

Technically there's a 4th card but it doesn't appear to be in my file to grab easily so I'll share these 3 for today.

I used the Spring Critters stamp set- which has a set of dies available to use in your Cuttlebug, big shot, or whatever else you use to cut dies.  You can click here to get more info on this.

In March:  Stamps are Buy 2 get 1 (of equal or lessor value) FREE.

Watercolor Blog Hop

A quick photo on watercolor cards

I used watercolor paints for the background of the left card.  I watercolored paper with my watercolor paints on the right side, let it dry and then stamped the butterfly.  I also used this method for the butterfly on the left card.  You definitely need to let your paper dry completely before stamping, or it will smear the ink.  I used Memento ink on both butterflies and then cut around.

I love the look that watercolor inks provide- so much fun!

Stamp of the MOnth Blog Hop: Sunshine Birdies

Welcome to a new month!

That means there's a new STAMP OF THE MONTH... woohooo!

If you're coming from Michelle's blog you're headed in the right direction.  If you're just starting here- no worries!  You will be able to circle around and see all the great artwork.

This month we are featuring Sunshine Birdies... a cute stamp set that screams SPRING!

Here's a look at the stamp set itself:

As always, our stamp of the month runs $17.95 OR only $5 with a purchase of $50 or more.

I had a LOT Of FUN working with this set.  It's got all the necessary parts to create a fun scene.

I started out with some watercolor paper.  I wet the paper with my CTMH paintbrush (which does not shed!!!  LOVE our brushes... and I paint a LOT)
I painted some green, blue and yellow on the paper as shown and allowed it to dry.  I used the CTMH watercolor paints for this project- I actually use them on almost all of my cards these days.

I Used Memento black ink to stamp all the images and then followed up with additional coloring using my watercolor pencils.

I colored 3 gems with my Shinhan marker and attached them to the bottom right corner.
I took a piece of aqua shimmer trim the same length as my painted paper and cut it into a curvy strip.  It's self adhesive so I just peeled the backing off and stuck into place.

HOpe you enjoy this!!
