Kaboom!

Hello!

This month's stamp of the month is super fun and just in time to get ready for the 4th of July!

If you are coming from Brae's blog...welcome!

If you are just joining the hop at my page...that's OK too!  The hop should make a circle so you can see all of the great ideas.

I actually have a layout to show this month!  My pictures from last year will be printed soon and then I will update the photo.

I used the Jubilee paper pack, sparkle flourishes, and some shimmer trim for more sparkle. I used Cricut Art Philosophy to cut out the title.

Hope you like this fun page layout idea!

Next up is Melissa'S  blog.  Go see what she has created using this set!

Free to be Me Card kit

Wow!  May is nearly over and school will soon be out.  I am looking forward to summer weekends at the beach and nights at the fire pit.

Today I have a super cute card kit to offer you.  It includes TWO each of both cards.  I am limited to 7 card kits total due to the fun paper flower and butterfly embellishments I used which are retired.

The paper is from the May National Scrapbook Month kit "Free to be Me".  C1537 Honeycomb stamp set and B1398 Just for You stamps (for the sentiment)

Ink colors are lagoonRuby and crème bruleeClear sparkles were used to add some glitz.

This card kit is $5 (4 cards total) plus $2 for shipping.

OR through midnight May 28 all orders of $20 or more (before shipping and tax) will receive this card kit FREE.

Stamping is completed for you.  What you need:  pop dots/ foam tape, normal tape runner adhesive.

The hexagons I used were cut using Artbooking Cricut Cartridge- the hexagon shape was sized at 1 1/4 inches.

Use the link below to purchase.  If you choose to place an order to receive a FREE kit by midnight May 28 it will arrive separately.  No need to place an order below- I've reserved several kits specifically for that purpose.

Disclaimer:  one of the cards above was an idea from Pinterest but it was created using products from different companies.  My creations are all CTMH products, inks, cards, envelopes etc!

Card in a Box using Ivy Lane

hello!

I have a pile of photos to post on my blog over the coming weeks (FINALLY!)

This was a very hectic spring...  I'll be showing some of the photos from the craziness too but for today - in honor of my mom's birthday- I'll show you the "Card in a Box" I designed for my club project last month.  I am mailing this for my mom's birthday (yep.. late again.  birthday is today and it's just being mailed today.  Lucky for me she doesn't really pay attention to my blog ;) )

First of all- I got the instructions for this particular sized box from Split Coast Stampers.  The final assembled size of their box was 6x6.5 inches.  That is all fine and dandy but it doesn't fit any size envelope I own.  SO - I cut the original pattern a half inch shorter in height so when you make all your cuts and folds it fits a 6x6 envelope.

Supplies used:  slate cardstock, colonial white and sweet leaf cardstock,  Ivy lane paper packArt Philosophy Cricut cartridge, Hooray Bouquet stamp set, and ink colors (blush, hollyhock, cocoa and sweet leaf)
6x6 envelopes (while supplies last) they are only $1.50 for 10

I took the photo with my phone so the colors are a little off...  but you get the idea I hope ;)

Check back this week for more artwork!

Free To Be Me

Hello!

Sorry for the absence in posts lately.  Luckily many of our activities are beginning to wind down for the year- it's such a good feeling when you start having more time to craft again!

I'm just popping in to remind you about the National Scrapbooking Month campaign going on right now.  It's called:

Free to be Me

This campaign involves a beautiful paper pack.  This pack is available only in May WHILE SUPPLIES LAST and is ONLY $5 with a $50 purchase.  It is a limited edition item and not available for individual sale.  I admit that I've been so busy I haven't even been able to play with my set but I'll be creating some artwork to show off after this weekend.

The photo below shows the paper designs a little better.  You get 2 each of 3 designer papers.  The top row shows one side while the bottom row shows the back side of each of those papers.

You also receive Red, Teal and Gold uv-coated cardstock (2 of each).  UV coating is like a glossy embossed look- it's actually really neat.  There are two vellum sheets in the pack.  One is covered in white feathers and the other has gold coated polka dots.

Want to see some AWESOME artwork using this set while I work on creating mine?  Why not visit our CTMH CEO/founders blog at: http://www.jeanettelynton.com/2014/05/free-to-make-fabulous-artwork.html
and see what our corporate artists have done... stunning!
