Picture My Life CTMH card

I just returned from the annual CTMH convention {AWESOME!}  I have so many fun things to share with you over the coming year- it's going to be fun!!

In the meantime, I have tons of artwork to share.  Today I'm posting a card I created for the consultant Creative Showcase.  This is the first year they've had this event and basically we could sign up for a 3 foot space on a table to showcase some artwork... there was a lot of great stuff and here is one of my pieces:

I used the Ariana paperpack for cardstock and skylark Picture My Life card for the patterned paper piece.  It was 3x4 with rounded corners, I just trimmed enough off each side to remove the rounded corner look and square it off.

I used clear sparkle flourishes, burlap ribbon, hollyhock zipper trim, Ariana bow assortment.  I also used the " Love This"  stamp set:

I stamped in Chocolate ink.  With a blending pen I colored the butterfly with chocolate and Hollyhock inks.

I used Liquid glass to stick the heavy zipper in place.  I used 3-d foam tape to pop the patterned panel/ chocolate piece on (I only added foam tape to the parts that did not touch the burlap and zipper trim... the overhangs attached directly to the green cardstock.  Need adhesive- click here to see our selection.
This card is super cute and in "real life" the green of the bow matches the cardstock.

Hope you enjoyed this fun project!  Check back tomorrow for the new July Stamp of the Month hop after 9pm EST.
