You've Got a Friend

Welcome to a new month and a NEW Stamp of the Month Set- You've Got a Friend.

This month you'll find some great ideas when you circle your way through the hop.

If you're coming from Lucy's blog- WELCOME-  if you are just joining the hop by starting here- that's great too!

This month's set is a fun set with some cool sentiments.  While I used it on a card- you could EASILY incorporate these stamps into scrapbooking.

I love the fun style of this set- it's very different than the thin lined stamps we typically carry.
Here's the card I created.  The photo isn't the best but I had to buy a new computer and haven't loaded all my programs yet...  but you get the idea!  I used the silver glitter paper, Balloon Ride paper pack, Besties My Crush asst (the little grey tab under the sentiment piece) and metallic twine.  I also used Slate and Outdoor Denim inks.     I hope you like the card I created for this month's hop.                      Next up- visit Tamytha's blog to see what she has created!

Adventure in Skylark

I'm back today with another great layout from my Skylark Retreat Layout project kits.

On this layout I continued using the same supplies I showed with the paradise layout but I added some Ruby cardstock with this kit.  I just love the pairing of this bright pop of color with the colors from Skylark.

The half hexagons came from the overlay used on the Paradise layout... it's two posts down from this one.

It's hard to see in the photo but a 1/2 x 12 inch strip was cut into sections and adhered next to the blue/red "summer" mat to use as journaling spaces.

Supply list:  Skylark paper, Ruby cardstock, teal shimmer trim; blue/green epoxy gems, artbooking cricut collection. Dimensional Elements Signage chipboard

Hope you like this one!  I have one more layout to show.  I'll be back tomorrow with that one.  In the meantime- I still have some card kits left from yesterday's post :)

Birthday card kits

I know I haven't finished posting my Skylark travel layouts- I promise to post more tomorrow.

In the meantime- I am finding that I am overloaded on card kits from past classes.  Rather than let it all sit- I thought I'd share the love and offer the kits here for purchase for those that aren't able to attend my classes.

  • ALL kits come with color photos of each card included in your kit.

  • There are 8 kits available- each with pre-cut papers and embellishments to create FOUR DIFFERENT cards.

  • Stamping is completed for you BUT I have not completed any additional items like coloring of images (most paper crafters at least have colored pencils and most people like to have some creative input in their projects)

  • If you prefer that I DO NOT stamp-please add that in the comment section at checkout.

  • Incredible value at $4.50 for the kit and $2.25 for shipping anywhere in the U.S

  • Please note that not all cards have inside sentiments.  I sometimes leave the inside blank until I know who I'm giving the card to and my kits reflect that (some DO have inside sentiments)

  • .

I will be offering new kits each month and only in limited quantities.  Once they are sold I do not intend to make more of the same kit.

Skylark paradise

Welcome back!

This past weekend was my annual spring retreat in Mattawan, MI.  SO.MUCH.FUN

I thought I'd share some photos of the projects I taught throughout the weekend.  So check back for more over the coming week.

Today is one of 3 layouts created using the Skylark paper pack.    All 3 layouts used that paper pack and then I added a variety of "extras".  As you can see... this layout had lots of  green and brown glitter paper.  I also used teal shimmer trim, blue/ green epoxy bubbles and the Artbooking Cricut Collection.

Stay tuned for more projects this week!

My next Retreat is October 17-19 in Okemos, MI   If you are interested in the details- let me know!  I'd be happy to mail you a flyer.

April Stamp of the Month

I completely missed the April Stamp of the Month blog hop this month... I misplaced my project before I ever took the photo and then I was out of town the entire weekend leading up to posting the card... so I never had a chance to finish looking... I was sooo bummed!

But!  I found it... finally.

Here is the stamp set:  It is called Balloon Talk

Here is my super cute card (if I do say so myself)

Supplies Used:  Ariana Paper Pack, Outdoor denim ink, Balloon Talk stamp of the month, Dots embossing folder, pink glitter gems.

Technique:  I rubbed my Outdoor denim ink pad all over the embossing folder ( I did it over both sides on the inside, embossed my white cardstock, then chose my favorite side to use on the card)

In April you can purchase Balloon Talk for $17.95 OR add it to an order of $50 or more for only $5.  LOVE IT!

Sorry my art is late but hope you think it was worth the wait!
