A new stamp of the month for March 2014

***Edited March 6th to fix links***

Welcome to a BRAND NEW month and a NEW stamp set from Close To My Heart!

Join us this month as about 60 or so consultants share their ideas for this cute stamp set.  If you are coming from Gina's Blog you are headed in the right direction.  If you are just joining the hop here at my blog- NO PROBLEM... it Should make a circle and loop around.

As a reminder- Our stamp of the Month sets are available for only ONE MONTH... get it before it's gone- it retires March 31, 2014.

So- here's a preview of the set:

How do you like these adorable Russian Stacking Dolls?  They seem to be EVERYWHERE in the stores... cookie jars, towels, home d├ęcor... I never noticed until the stamp set came out.  The images are too cutesy for me to scrapbook... I just personally couldn't envision what I would do with them.  So I went to my faithful pinterest and searched "Russian Stacking Dolls."  Please note that my card, while made with 100% Close To My heart products... was totally inspired by pinterest.    I just LOVE bright colors and loved the concept of the cards I saw... so here is my version:

The colors are off slightly- I had to use the camera on my phone instead of my dslr.  This was not a "fast card".  I stamped the images in black pigment ink.  I colored with watercolor pencils and then went over it all with a blending pen.
cardstock colors: white and black.

Because of the "haze" over the middle of the card from lighting and a crappy camera- this card doesn't look as vibrant as it is in real life.  I Love the way it turned out and hope you do too!

Next up visit Sarita's blog to see what she's come up with.

This is such a neat idea - almost psychedelic - wish I could see it in person!
