Happy for hexagons!

I am so excited about today's card... it was easy and fun and now I'm set for an upcoming birthday ;)

Supplies used:  Pacifica and Kraft cardstock, hexagon chipboard, stamp pad colors:  pacifica, honey, desert sand, sky
I cut wedges from a sponge to collect ink and sponge it on the chipboard.  Our hexagon chipboard is part of the "irresistible" line.  this means there is a white design embossed on each piece (comes that way!) and when you sponge ink over top the design "pops" out!

I used liquid glass to stick all of the hexagons down for a sturdy hold.  In addition to using liquid glass as an adhesive.. it also works to create a shiny/ glass look on projects.

Stamp set used:  the stamp is from an exclusive set that comes in the Art Philosophy Cricut collection but you could substitute any birthday set.

Once all of my hexagons were adhered... I just trimmed those that overhung the edge.

Completely change the look of this card by sponging in pinks/ purples with a pink glittery background for a girl's card.  How easy is that!

Yes this card was based off some pinterest inspiration and here is the link to the original post it was pinned from... click here.
