If you've arrived from Traci's blog (not me Traci... silly... but Traci Pasqualone!) then you are headed in the right direction... but if you are just starting here at my blog- no worries! The hop should make a circle. You'll find the next blog in the hop at the bottom of this post.
Now.. here is the stamp set itself:
I really love this great holiday set. While the images are great on their own... you can tell by the red outlines that 5 of the stamps coordinate with the new Artiste Cricut cartridge by Close To My Heart.
After spending the last several days baking for my daughter's birthday- I am anxious for all of the great holiday treats to come! I thought I'd start by planning some of my packaging ideas. Here is one of them- I cut the box, and tags using Artiste. For now I have M&M's inside BUT this would hold one or two really nice heavy duty sugar cookies with icing that I love to make (and eat!)
This uses one sheet of Kraft cardstock and I cut my bag as a "fit to page". It is about 4" tall assembled. The fancy window is a part of the bag and cuts automatically. Then 3 pieces of scrap Colonial white cardstock finish out the paper. The fancy green wrapper (behind the "a holiday treat" piece) was just a 1/2 x 10 inch piece of colonial white stamped with the cuff part of the mitten image for a fancy design. I second generation stamped "A holiday treat" with Cranberry ink while Olive was used for the green.
Ribbons: Cranberry Baker's Twine and Silver Shimmer Trim. Did you know the silver shimmer trim is self adhesive? This bag literally went together in 10 minutes (not including the 30 minutes it took me to find my stamp set and supplies!)
Now head on over to Brae's Blog to see what she has created!
And check back later this week to see the Angry Bird cake and cake pops I made for my daughter's birthday!!!
