Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

{edited to update links}
Welcome!!!

The start of a new month brings a new hop!!!

This month we are showcasing Baroque Borders- the August Stamp of the Month for Close To My Heart.

I am so excited to see what all of our other hoppers have created with this set- you are sure to see a TON of new products just in time to purchase them yourself tomorrow!

This month's set has a set of 5 images for $17.95.  Or, snatch this set for only $5 when you purchase another $50 worth of product (not hard to do with a new catalog to shop from!!!)

So- if you are just joining this hop- continue on your merry way - the next blog is listed at the bottom.  If however you are stopping by from Lori's blog- awesome!!  you are a pro and know how to navigate.

on to my art:
ok... so the supply list is really simple:  Clementine Level 2 paper (which is by far... my favorite!)
brown/tan sparkles, Saddle  and Sorbet ink.

The Saddle cardstock has a Leathered look.  You get this look by spraying your paper down with water till dripping wet.  Wad it up and crinkle.  Unfold it and lay it flat to dry.  It really weekens the paper fibers and gives it a super soft feel.  It also exposes some of the white paper core in CTMH paper.  I then inked over the top with Saddle ink.

I've already been told that this card looks way better in person than in my picture... but... well... I don't know how to show you in person so you just get the picture- good or bad.

I cut the stamp design out and popped with 3-d foam tape.  The sentiment is from a set called Casual Expression which is also awesome!

Thanks for stopping by- next up hop on over to see what Sarita has created.

If you are perusing this blog on August 1st or later... please note that we have an awesome special for new consultants.  For only $49 you can join my team and receive about $130 in supplies AND while supplies last CTMH will add a fabulous bag to your kit- valued at $50!!!  Either ask your consultant how to join- or if you don't have a consultant of  your own- I would love to have you join my team here.
