At some point - you'll need to form a crease in your cover so that it can easily be flipped open... I added my creast after decorating my front cover but I highly recommend creasing FIRST so you know where not to place bulky embellishments that prevent folding/ opening.

Now that my first official Expo is over... I can finally catch my breath and post some artwork!! Today I'm posting the Hooligans artwork I had on display. Towards the bottom of the display is a little "Boo" halloween album I created with our 4x6 flip flap memory protectors (15 per pack at only $3.95- these sold like hotcakes) you can find them here.
If the tutorial isn't posted by the end of the day Sept 29- watch for it Oct 2.
Sept 30 will be the October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop and I like to leave those posts live for the 1st of the month as well.

This last one I'm showing today is actually one of my favorites... it's so simple and easy to make but I LOVE the santa silhouette. Each snowflake has a clear sparkle (rhinestone) in the center for just a touch of glitz.
It is what I would consider... a quick mass producer... easy and quick for someone making a LOT of cards.

Hi! I promised my club members I'd have the cards for club (this week!) posted by the end of the weekend so they could choose their project...well- it's certainly the end of the weekend so i'm just in the nick of time!
ok... not the best picture and I do have individuals of each card... I'll try to post the close- ups tomorrow but I am literally drop dead tired!!
Ever since our vacation last month- I've been working non-stop to prep for my first EXPO event...lots of planning and artwork creating going on and I have a LOT left to do to ensure an awesome booth!!
Not to mention - school is back in session, soccer started yesterday for my daughter and her dance registration for the new season is tomorrow night... the one year old doesn't rest and our house is getting some much needed cleaning and we are working on a total re-do of my scrapbook area.
It was too hot to do much outdoor work this summer (I think I read last week that it was the 4th hottest summer on record for Michigan) and now that cooler temps (and no to low humidity!) have finally arrived- we are cleaning the garage and pole barn areas out plus doing all the splitting of perennials, final weeding etc that we desperately need to do.
I promise once the expo is over- you will be flooded with artwork posts!! until then I will post when I'm able to. I'll leave you with a photo of my little friend I discovered today.

The left page has a space for one 5x7 while the right side holds 2 standard size photos. You can always shake things up by changing photo sizes or adding a bunch of smaller (2x2, 3x3 etc) photos along the bottom.
My club members can choose to make this layout in September (or a set of 3 cards which will be posted over the next few days when I get the photo)
If you are local to the Kalamazoo/ Battle Creek area of Michigan- you are welcome to attend- send me a quick RSVP here and I'll add you to the list. Remember to let me know which day you'll come (Thurs Sept 16 at 6:30pm or Sat Sept 18 at 1:30pm- and I'll e-mail you with directions to my home)
If you are NOT local- or the dates don't work for you- I will have kits available (must RSVP by Wed. Sept 15 to purchase a kit or to attend in person) Fees: free to club members. Layout: $5 to attendees (free with $25 order) or $10 for non-attendees who need to have it shipped(covers shipping)
If ordering a kit: please let me know if you'd like the stamping completed...and if so- which school grade.
