Circles All Around!

Circles seem to be the rage in paper crafting so I thought I'd give it a try. Here's a card I created for a class this weekend. I used the Close To My Heart "Wishes" book although at the moment I can't remember which template it's from. The Wishes and Originals books each come with a CD full of the templates used on the projects throughout the book... Since the book is copyrighted I can't post the templates here- but it is super fun and easy to use!

{Supplies: all CTMH: Wishes book, Jingle paper pack, White Daisy ricrac, White Daisy mini medley collection, Twinkle brads (Twilight) Twilight ink and Childhood Portrait stamp set}

And just for fun... here's the cute little critter we found on our porch- he blended in with the leaves so much that we almost didn't see him!

long overdue...

for a new post!! Sorry I've been MIA. In addition to returning to work in mid- August following a 4 month maternity leave... my daughter started Young 5's and I've been busy with my first big month with CTMH since before the baby was born!! It's been super crazy- but I love it :)

I mentioned way back on Sept. 1st that I had more Sept. stamp of the month artwork to show so I figured I'd better post than now before it's time for October! I'm going to attempt to pre-schedule some posts for the week- I have a LOT to show you!

For today- a cute layout of my Addie and a fun thank you card- made with the same stamp set- Treasures- available only through the end of September! Click here to see how to purchase it- or even earn it FREE!

I thought the stamp set was perfect for the cute photo of Addie blowing the dandelion seeds all over my yard!! She thought it was the prettiest flower :) Unfortunately I had twice as many dandelions this past spring. {Supplies- all by Close To My Heart: Cardstock: Chocolate, Bamboo, Sweet Leaf, Crystal Blue Pattern Paper: Sweet Home Level 2 paper pack Stamp Pads: Chocolate, Bamboo, Crystal Blute, White Daisy Embellishments: Chipboard buckle (sponged with Bamboo and name stamped in Crystal Blue), Cocoa Grosgrain ribbon, clear sparkles and rhinestone circle (from the Connections Club gift during Summer '09)}

Some close ups:

Here's the card I mentioned:
The picture is a little dark- sorry about that! The paper is Garnet- the patterned paper is from the National Stamping Month Celebration card kit- see the side bar on the right to learn how to get one for you!! (with a $60 stamp purchase you'll receive a FREE kit! you can order from my website here!)

September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!

Whew... another month- another stamp set to show ! I am loving this new stamp set "Treasures" available September 1-30th only!

If this is your first stop on the hop... go to Jena's blog to start at the beginning.
If you just came from Nancy Brown's blog... you are going in the right direction! Since I'm towards the end of the blog- I've just listed the last few after me at the end of this post but if you get stuck along the way go to Jena's blog which will have the entire list!

My card this month is a quick...little card! I actually designed this card for a Stamp of the Month Swap I'm in and thought I'd share it with the rest of you...
What you don't see is the glitter on the flower image or on the floral patterned paper... It's much prettier in person. The size of this card is 4 1/4 x 3 or something along those lines... the size requirement was given to me as part of the swap. The paper is from the brand new Sweet Home paper pack! Golly- there are so many awesome new things in the Fall Idea Book- hope you like this little glimpse. I did design a 2-page layout with the stamp set but I don't have a photo and I think it'll be a club project this month so you'll get to see it soon.
Have fun hopping along the last few blogs:
