Gifts for Giving

I've been quite busy planning some small gift projects for my customers to make at an upcoming gift class.

Here's a sneak peak of a few items with more to come in a few days.

This first one is a checkbook cover. This particular one I made for myself. I've had my current checkbook cover for about 4 years or so and was in desperate need of a change.

I used some paper from the Magic Moments Paper Pack, a White Daisy Just Blooms paper flower sponged with Indian Corn Blue Ink and centered with a clear sparkle. I added a strip of sunflower cardstock and some hollyhock ricrac. The "T" was cut from chipboard with my handy dandy Sizzix- I think if I realized sooner that it would cut through chipboard- this thing would have seen a lot more action in the past year! the "t" was sponged with Sweet Leaf ink. I am loving this new checkbook cover and since my customers will be able to use any paper in my scrapbin that they choose- I'll bet I see some really awesome designs!!

This next one is equally cute in my book. It's a gift set that will be packaged together in a cute handmade bag that isn't shown.
The item on the left is a cute tic tac container covered with cardstock- see the cute belly cut-out where the tic-tacs are poking through!! (I totally stole this idea from CTMH consultant Jennifer Woodbury on our consultant boards) The candle was dressed up with some ribbon and holiday stamping on cardstock that was adhered to a rectangle vellum tag. The item on the right is soap purchased from Michaels and the only addition is the red band and snowman.

This is so cute. I can't wait to try it. I came across your blog from someone elses who I found when searching CTMH consultants. I added you on my blog so that I can remember to come and look at your blog.
