yeah- I found some cards that I hadn't posted yet to share with you this week!

Here is a card I made in November for my friend's birthday. I used some textured cardstock and textured die cuts (from the November CTMH special- Dazzling Diecuts) in flower shapes. I used some green grosgrain ribbon for the stems but it was too wide- So the ribbon was folded in half and hand stitched with green thread to the card front (the card front was made first and then attached to the base so none of the embellishments showed through the back side)

All of the flower petals were sponged with coordinating ink colors. Small brads were added to the center of the smaller flowers and a large corduroy brad (from the Autumn mini-medley collection) was used in the larger flower. Personally- the card is prettier in real life but the photo will have to do for now.
I hope you all had/ are having a great holiday! Since I only work 2 more days this year- I've got a lot of sketches drawn out of projects I plan to make over the coming week and just have some finishing touches on projects already started- I can't wait for my hubby to get out of work tonight so I can disappear to my craft room- but for now I'm going to start my daughter's second lesson on playing minesweeper!!
