It's like Christmas in July...errr.. August!!!

Today the first of two packages (for now!) of new CTMH product arrived!! Today I received all of the new embellishments that I'd ordered. It was the second order I'd placed but the first to arrive- go figure! Since many of the items deal with the 4 new colors being released- and my new papers and inks don't arrive until tomorrow- there wasn't a lot I could use tonight.... but don't fret- I picked up the new naturals embroidery floss which will pretty much go with everything!! I had no idea the embroidery floss came with a needle threader in each package!! That was awesome as I hadn't thought about that when I'd originally ordered the floss.

Last night I'd wanted to create a card with the new Sept. Som but needed to design the swap card instead... tonight I needed to complete all of my swap cards and designed with the Sept. stamp of the month instead! I think I'll work on the swap cards in the morning before work.

Here's the result of playing with my new stamps... This card took about 20 minutes and that included the stitching time... I had the idea in my head and just needed to choose paper and find the supplies. I had taken a better photo but I couldn't crop all the paper scraps from the photo... so I'm using this one instead :)

Supplies: All by CTMH- Enchanted paper pack, Sept. Stamp of the Month, Piercing tool, white floss. CTMH Dye Inks: Pansy Purple, Sweet Leaf, Honey. CTMH Pigment ink: white daisy

Other: EK Success corner punch with guard removed to make scallops(sold by CTMH), crop o dile (from Michaels)

Hope you like it!!
