Scrapbooking...finally!

I haven't had much time to scrapbook lately... prior to today I'd only completed about 12 pages... or even worse- only 6- 2page layouts!! Meanwhile my box of photos continues to grow. I've been a photo snapping fool this year! I FINALLY sat and scrapbooked yesterday. I only completed 2- 2page layouts- but I'm so happy with them. The rest of my time was spent with my stamp club, reading a good book from my sister, and working on weeding and working up the dirt in my vegetable garden area. My husband and I made plans for our gardens and the list of supplies we'll be buying today to get everything done. Unfortunately he has to work on Memorial Day- so we'll be busy today trying to get as much done as possible... including cutting the extremely long dandelions in our yard!! The grass itself isn't too aweful but boy do the weeds grow!! Here's the first of the 2-layouts I completed. I'll post the other either tonight or tomorrow. I used the CTMH Paper Garden Paper Pack, Precious Alphabet, May Word Puzzle and June Stamp of the Month (With Love) I also used a bitty brad. Ink colors are Blush and Sweet Leaf. This was our trip to the Frederick Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids last May. I used a green grosgrain ribbon to cut my flower leaves for the upper left corner of the right page. Nothing fancy but I wanted to use the June Stamp of the Month on a layout for my demo board for June.
