I just wish I could show you everything I made yesterday... but I'm going to wait just a week or so. It's been a while since I crafted for "fun" and not for my business. So yesterday I perused the pulication submission calls and crafted all night (ok- I only made 3 things!!) so I'll hold off on showing those for a few days until I see if any of them are accepted or not. It was fun fun fun!!
I did find out that a swap I sent in a month ago will be sent back tomorrow - very excited about that- I'll be sure to share everything when I receive it since everything I'll be receiving was made with paper that I designed and submitted to the swap hostess!! If you missed my original post about that- I'll put the link to the original post when I share everything I receive... I'll also finally be able to share the cards I made with the paper that everyone else designed- it was a unique swap and I can't wait to see the results!!
Speaking of swaps- here's a card going out in tomorrow's mail (well- 6 cards to be exact!) as this is another swap card I finished last week. The picture isn't the best- it doesn't quite show the detail on this card. I'm still learning how to take really good artwork pictures and while some have been really good- others could be improved- the hardest part for me is showing dimension- even with side shots- the artwork becomes sort of "flat". Supplies used on this card are all from CTMH Co: Boom-di ada Paper Pack, Be True Stamp Set. Bamboo and Barn Red Stamp Pads, Watercolor Pencils (Cranberry, Olive, Autumn Terracotta), hemp and pewter brads. This is one of those cards that looks much better in person!!
